Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Vacaville, California, Bigfoot Mobile Systems designs and manufactures custom-engineered mobile workstations for professionals across broadcast, film, corporate, education, government, and military sectors.

Operating under parent company Mobilized Tech Systems, we combine safe transportation, easy integration, and ergonomically designed workspaces into ruggedly built Performance Furniture that goes far beyond traditional AV carts and equipment cases.

Doug Solis

President & Founder

Doug Solis has worked in the broadcast and film industry since 1981 — over 40 years of hands-on experience engineering solutions for professionals who depend on their equipment every day.

A former Sony factory engineer, Doug specialized in VTR (Video Tape Recorder) and camera systems, developing deep expertise in the technical demands of professional media production. During his career, he manufactured Emmy award-winning TBCs (Time Base Correctors) and Frame Synchronizers — critical components in broadcast signal processing.

While doing contract work for the Oakland Raiders and Pixar in the late 1990s, Doug grew frustrated with the cheap, inadequate AV carts available on the market. He designed the first Bigfoot all-in-one integrated mobile cart to solve the problem — and a company was born.

Educated at DeVry Institute of Technology, Doug brings a rare combination of engineering rigor and real-world production experience to every system Bigfoot builds.
